Obesity and Mcdonalds

Since the 1970’s rates for obesity have more than doubled. Over two thirds of the population are obese. Why is this a problem? This leads to widespread health problems for adults and children. People who are diagnosed with obesity have an increased risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, and stroke. I feel like Mcdonald’s has a direct impact in contributing to the high rates of obesity. One meal from Mcdonald’s is about 1,800, that is about how many calories a person should consume in one day. The problem with Mcdonald’s is that due to all of there foods being processed, makes the food a lot more harmful to our body. The problem is that American’s is that we are getting lazy and would rather just go through the drive verses cooking a meal.
